Xavier Holden is no one in particular. Not a musician, not a critic. Just someone who was in the rooms. Who felt the bass in his chest and drove home with ringing ears and the certainty that the world was worth being in. He loved rock and metal so much that, when he began to fear their silence, writing this was the only way he found to survive it. Not a book, exactly. A rescue. He heard the noise, and he needed you to know.
